v1.0.0
v1.0.0
First public release of DAC (Dispatched Agent Cluster) — an MIT open-source control
plane for fleets of containerized agent nodes across servers, built on DeepSeek Harness.
New Features
- Fleet management — one manager, machines joined by a node agent (zero inbound
ports), nodes as container workers or host processes, live topology view with
heartbeat edges, per-node DSH version pinning. - Unified conversation — streaming chat against any node, tool cards, inline
question and approval handling, per-session model selection and access-mode switching. - API access — every node exposed through one authenticated gateway prefix, so
third-party clients get the same agents the UI has. - Brain dispatch — conversational orchestration with delegation frames; read-only on
workspaces, execution is always delegated. - Operations — audit log, peak/off-peak costing with daily budget breakers, encrypted
backups with a restore drill, self-update with health probe and automatic rollback,
in-app notifications. - Bilingual UI — English by default, Chinese switchable per user; adding a language
is one JSON file plus one registry line.
Improvements
- Renamed the product to DAC (was "Oh! dsh"); repository and images follow.
- Made English the default language and moved every user-visible string into
translatable locale files. - Added
SECURITY.md,CONTRIBUTING.md,CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md, issue and PR templates.
Security
- Node ports bind loopback only; dangerous operations are gated by approval cards.
- Agent tokens rotate with a 30-minute grace window; first login forces a password
change.
