DAC Documentation
DAC (Dispatched Agent Connector) is an MIT open-source control plane for fleets of agent nodes across multiple servers, built on DeepSeek Harness. DeepSeek Harness provides the agent runtime (sessions, tools, sandbox, filesystem); DAC adds the control plane: authentication, chat relay, brain dispatch, node and machine management, skill inventory, cost accounting, backup and restore.
The default install is three things:
| Role | What it does |
|---|---|
| manager | The control plane: sign-in, pages, scheduling, accounting, backups |
| brain | Cross-domain planning and dispatch; read-only on workspaces, execution is always delegated |
| workspace agent | Your own agent: reads files, writes files, leaves a git trail |
Where to start
- Quick start — install in five minutes
- Concepts — server → node → workspace → session
- Features — what the interface gives you
- Configuration — config, secrets, domain & TLS
- Cost & backups — cost, backup, update, troubleshooting
